Bored 4am ramble!

Ok so firstly...my sleep pattern is ridiculous!
I am super bored and I cant get to sleep so I thought I would just ramble on this for the sake of it.

So I have been waking up at like 4pm recently as I dont go back to university till Monday! I am super dreading it as I hate having to get up and be presentable to go into the city for like one hour...its such a waste! But yes but before I go back I promised my mum I would tidy my awful room...so today I got up at 1pm...which is early for me and did a lot; but it also made me realise how much I still have to do which is depressing! I did sooooo much laundry that I called my kitchen Gillian's Chinese Laundry...as you do!

Also I have nooo money whatsoever...and next month I will have to buy more textbooks which are tres expensive! If I dont finish my tidying by Friday then I wont do it at all so I have got to push myself during the day to get it done! As for once I am actually going out at the weekend. If the worst came to the worst I could do it in the evenings but they are strictly dedicated to TV.

The one TV show I loveeeeee at the moment is Glee...it is freggin amazing! I just love it haha and it always makes you dead happy! And I would watch it just for the singing but the fact it is hilar is a bonus. That is the one advantage of being at home alone; you can walk about singing 'Dont stop believin' at the top of your voice...its fun! And Glee are holding open auditions for season 2...as much as I would love to enter...sadly I am not a very good singer/dancer(=()!

In terms of fashion etc...I have been thinking a lot about summer clothes and what I will wear. Last year I went to beachy relaxed places on holiday but this year I am going to a big city so it calls for a totally different wardrobe! I have been really loving all the sheer kind of floaty tops for spring in the pastel colours! As I am sooo fair I never think that they would go with my skintone but last year I got a pale pink top and it actually accentuated my skintone...so I will be checking that stuff out for sure! Also all the Parisian style clothes are very "me"...with the blues, stripes and polka dots so I will be wearing that trend!

It is my birthday in 39 days...=D!

But yeah so back to university on Monday...and I have tons of early starts this semester so fun for me...and I dont get another holiday till...April!!!!!!! Arghhhh awful!

Finally...I know this is long haha...Rimmel foundation!

The picture says it all...why is their lightest shade soooo dark compared to every other brands?!!
See yoouuuu later

Nails, crop tops and blusher!

Okkkk so i went shopping...again!

This is exam time at uni in the UK and it is very stressful haha so shopping helps to aleviate this stress!

First I picked up the basics...some cotton buds as I had some heavy duty nail varnish removal to do...the Barry M glitter one is hell to get off!

Then I purchased this Sally Hansen insta-dri topcoat as I really hate waiting for nail polish to dry! You put on your polish then wait 2 minutes then apply this and in 30 seconds they are dry! However I washed my hands and it got all smudged so maybe it isnt water resistant!

This nail colour is Sienna by asospaint for Ciate...it is a kind of taupe colour which is hot this coming season!

I also went to New Look and picked up two tops=D!
The first is a crop top =O! I know it makes me feel sick but its really cute...i will never be wearing it though without a vest top underneath!

Then I got a cute long cardigan, which pretty much sums up an average casual outfit for me! Couldn't get a very good pic but at least you can see the pattern.

I have also ordered stuff from Nars and Benefit! If you live in the UK you should really check out Look magazine this week as they have tons of discounts on beauty sites! From HQhair.com I purchased a Nars eyeshadow duo in Silk Road...supposed to be £23 but with the discount it was £18.66!!!
From benefit.co.uk I got the Powderazzi gift set which contains three minisizes of coralista, hoola and dallas! It was a really good deal anyway at £25 but it was on sale on the Benefit website for £16.66!!!! And with the discount it was £14; so I couldn't resist!

I would include pictures of these though I feel this may be copyright!

My new obsession this week is a weird one...my hand sanitizer! It smells reallyyyy good and doesn't really make my hands dry! I only use it in the house...like after I eat something but it's soooo good! It is the Carex Aloe Vera hand gel!

Anywayyys peace

A Purchase and A Discovery

Hello!!

I am totally in debt right now and really shouldn't buy things I don't need but this was such a bargain, I just had to get it! I got this offer in an email from nails inc on Friday night and had to secretly order it once my parents went to bed! I do need a new nail file anyway as my mum went and stood on my glass one! And the buffer thing is well good :P

I am well excited for it coming! :)

On another note, I have been using Coastal Scents Under Cover High Definition Foundation in ST-02 for the past month and I really like it although the colour isn't perfect for me. I went to put on my make up this morning and realised I am like breaking out so bad (probably the hormones!) so I wanted a bit more coverage than usual so I mixed the CS foundation with my previous one which is Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect Foundation in rose clair (which is slightly 'orange' for me) and volia!! it's my perfect mix! I was well impressed :)

Enjoy!

Revison.....

Revising for exams is fun isn't it...

My exams for university are next week and I am dreading it; especially as they are my first ones and tbh I have no idea what to expect!

Most peoples advice is just revise everything...well I am not that type of person

I tend to cram the day before...and still end up doing quite well!

Annoying but true!

I have done this for these exams too...but I think that they will be harder than school exams and so my future isn't looking to bright!

I need at least 20% in both my modules to pass as we have already done assesments; which realistically I can get more than!

At least that is some comfort!

Anyway I was bored so I thought I would write this! Now I might have a little ramble about TV!

Ok so in about October I turned on the TV and this "True Blood" programme was on! I dismissed it as I am not into this whole "Twilight" vampire extravaganza nonsense! So I didn't watch it but then one night bored out of my mind I saw it on 4oD and decided it could be worth a watch!

My first reaction was shock! The show is really explicit!!! And you probablly need to be over 18 to watch...I am nearly 18 so its fine haha! I also thought it was a bit weird tbh! Like a random 150 year old guy falling in love with like a 23 year old girl! However something about it was intruiging and I have watched the whole first season and I love it! It is really weird and sometimes when I am watching it I am like "Gillian, what are you doing?"; but it is actually a really interesting storyline and it is mysterious which I like! The bad thing is though; America are already basically finished season 2 and we have just finished season 1! I hate waiting! Anyway...won't be long haha!

True Blood is my guilty pleasure!

Another programme which is IMMENSE is Glee! Only the pilot episode has been on but I have watched it like 4 times already! I am obsessed! It starts for real on Monday!!!! Super excited! I used to love choir at school but I wish we had Glee clubs in the UK! As it is like my dream to be an all singing all dancing performer...However I do not have the moves or the voice for this! But watching Glee is like my little dream haha!

I am officially a Gleek!

Again I don't care if noone reads...i like rambling!

When I went shopping this week I hardly got much I really need some new tops but sadly not had time or money to get any :( Here are the few things I did get :)

I had River Island vouchers and really need new boots so after seeing these ones online I went into the shop to see what they were like and try them on etc .. They are really warm and comfy :) I waterproofed them tonight as well but they won't be any use for the snow thats around at the moment I don't think cause they're just suede.

They were £34.99 :)

We went to Boots twice yesterday but collectively this is what I got ...

Barry M Nail Paint in Raspberry £2.95
Ew check my fingers... But anyway it's bit more pink than shows up on cam but more red than it is in the bottle. Incidently, it just started peeling as I was taking picture for this blog :( probably cause I layered it on too much but not to worry it was just the one nail.

2 pairs Eylure lashes

It was buy two get cheapest half price! How could I resist!

Lastly it was the necessities! I needed new cardigans and I got a H&M gift card for my Christmas so I bought a black one and a grey one at £9.99 each. Pictured is the grey one as the the black one is pretty much average...

Try to ignore the fact I look like I'm about to punch someone...
On the bright side I have my amazing earrings in there too!! I love them!!

Ok so the first thing I am going to talk about will be random stuff i bought this week!
I enjoy shopping a bit too much...but i didn't get too much this time.

Firstly I went to Topshop
I havent been into Topshop in a while but I am glad I did as they had some really nice new season stuff in!

The first item I got though was from the sale! This was a dress that I had saw in November and loved but I didnt really need another party dress! But when I saw it in the sale I knew I had to get it and it was reduced from £65 to £20!!!! It is a size too big so I am going to take it in...but then it will be perfect!

Next, I got a top from their non-sale items...it is a gorgeous navy, lace detailed top! It is one of those things that can definetly be dressed up or down!

Close up detail!

Then I went to River Island! I really don't like River Island. It is one of those shops I just never go in. But Louise was wanting new boots so when I was there with her I spotted these AMAZING shoes in their sale. And what made them better was the fact they were reduced from £59.99 to £20, which was perfect!

After that I went to Boots where Louise and I both picked up some Barry M nail varnish! This is my favourite nail varnish and in my opinion it is the same quality as O.P.I or other more expensive brands! I also got a Maybelline lip liner!

Rasberry Nail Paint, Red Glitter Nail Paint and Moisture Lip Liner in 56

Finally we went to MAC cosmetics( not the computer store lmao) and I picked up two things...MAC is my guilty pleasure and I always end up spending too much money there but not really this time!

By Candelight Mineralize Skinfinish and the 217 brush

That is it...just an average days shopping for me!

I enjoyed writing this haha even if no-one reads! I just like talking!
